However, Venus will have her hands full against Pavlyuchenkova, It's been a few years since these two players have met but Anastasia is looking for an upset. It won't happen here!

Coco is having an phenomenal run at this years Aussie Open, but runs into Garbine Muguruza who defeated her on a hard court last year at Cincinnati ahead of the U.S Open. Both are first time quarterfinalist at the Australian Open and Muguruza has yet to drop a set. Coco said following the upset over #1 Angelique Kerber her goal was to make it to a Grand Slam semifinal. It's going to be a tough test against Muguruza.

#5 Karolina Pliskova vs. Mirjana Lucic-Baroni - 7pm ET Tuesday
Series: Pliskova 3-2 (last win - Pliskova 2015)
Mirjana Lucic-Baroni is the cinderella story of the tournament, 18 years after making it to her first quarterfinal Lucic-Baroni returns. She will face a tough Karolina Pliskova who is seeded 5th in this quarterfinal. The last three meetings between the two happened in 2015 with all three matches going to three sets. Pliskova won two of those and has been impressive all tournament.
Prediction: Mirjana in 3
Series: First Meeting
Konta will have to dig deep in her tennis bag for some magical formula to defeat Serena. Williams eyeing Grand Slam Championship #23 has yet to drop a set this tournament and is a six time champion at Melbourne Park. Konta arguably has played better in her first four matches than Serena. If Williams struggles with her serve like she did in her last match it cowd lead to an earlier exit than expected for Serena.
