WNBA
CWHL

The Canadian Women's Hockey League is the premier, professionally run women's hockey league in the world. The CWHL is a centrally funded league meaning that all participating teams in the CWHL receive equal access to funding and are given the same opportunities to succeed. 

UWLX

The United Women's Lacrosse League (UWLX) is the first professional women's lacrosse league in the world!  It's been launched by the United Women's Sports, LLC in collaboration with the Play It Forward Sport Foundation in Boston, Mass. This female owned and operated company was formed with the primary objective of establishing women's pro leagues for a variety of sports, thereby creating opportunities for women at all levels of professional sports.  With the launch of UWLX, 100 such opportunities are being created from athletes to operations and executive management.

 

WFA

The Women’s Football Alliance (WFA) was designed to create the largest and most competitive women’s tackle football league in the world.  Women’s tackle football teams and leagues have been in existence for over four decades, but the most promising growth in the sport – both in the number of teams and in the level of competition – has taken place over the last five years.

USWFL

The United States Women’s Football League (USWFL is a small-market full-contact women’s football league built for teams with a lot heart, passion and pride packed into a mid-size roster. But more than that, the USWFL is a nationwide network of athletic, community minded, strong women dedicated to supporting each other and furthering the advancement of professional women’s sports who all happen to share an intense passion for the game!

The WNBA currently is composed of twelve teams. The league was founded on April 24, 1996, as the women's counterpart to the National Basketball Association (NBA). League play started in 1997; the regular season is currently played from May to August with the All Star game being played midway through the season in July and the finals in September.

Formerly the Women's Pro Softball League (WPSL), NPF is the only professional women's softball league in the United States. The WPSL was founded in 1997 and folded in 2001. The NPF revived the league in 2004 and currently features four teams: USSSA Pride, Akron Racers, Chicago Bandits, and the Pennsylvania Rebellion.

The first-ever all women’s professional paid hockey league, the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL), officially debuts October 2015. The founding four teams are the Boston Pride, Buffalo Beauts, Connecticut Whale and New York Riveters. The puck is set to drop for the regular season on October 17, 2015 and playoffs will conclude the season in March 2015.

The NWSL season runs from April–August with each team scheduled for 24 regular season games, 12 each of home and road.At the end of the regular season, the team with the highest point total is awarded the regular season title. The four clubs with the most points from the regular season standings qualify for the NWSL playoffs

 IWFL is a full-contact Women's American football league that was founded in 2000 and began play in 2001. It is one of three 11-on-11 U.S. football leagues for women, along with the Women's Football Alliance and the Women's Spring Football League, and the oldest of the three. Laurie Frederick is one of the league's founders and current CEO.

TENNIS

WTA founded in 1973 by Billie Jean King, is the principal organizing body of women's professional tennis. It governs the WTA Tour which is the worldwide professional tennis tour for women. Its counterpart organization in the men's professional game is the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).

 

LPGA

LPGA is an American organization for female professional golfers. The organization is headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida, and is best known for running the LPGA Tour, a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world.
