jumped out to a 20-6 halftime lead, then continued to score the next 3 touchdowns, pushing
the score to 42-6 before the Fire could punch one into the end zone. The Phoenix run game
was too fast for the Fire and their defense smothered the Alabama offense who had averaged
70 points per game in their 3 wins prior to the matchup.
Top teams rolled to easy victories this week with Sin City beating West Coast 32-0, Central Cal
thumped Ventura 82-0, and Dallas knocked Arlington out of the Top 10 with a convincing 74-0
win. The Chicago Force slammed St. Louis 46-6, which is sure to make any Chicago sports fan
happy to roll to a win in the historic rivalry. Seattle and Mile High both bounced back from

battle. The Phoenix head north to DC to take on the defending champion Divas who are on a
roll of their own. MyWSports will be live at a big matchup just outside the Top 10 between the
Philadelphia Phantomz and the Boston Renegades. The Renegades lost a tough one in the final
seconds to the Divas, can they bounce back and hold off the Phantomz who are looking for
revenge from a 40-25 loss in Week 1 to the Renegades?
The MyWSports Player of the Week goes to the Atlanta Phoenix running back Brittney Smith
who torched the Fire’s defense with 157 yards and 3 touchdowns. Smith said after the game
“The game was incredibly intense for me and I took it very personal… me and my team played
‘Atlanta Phoenix’ signature football, which is very competitive, tough and fast pace… we walked
away as the winners we are.”
