CHA

Syracuse 2 @ Penn State 1

The win keeps the Orange in the discussion for the CHA championship; the conference champion gets an automatic bid into the NCAA Championship.

Mercyhurst 6 @ Robert Morris 3

Mercyhurst found themselves in a hole early in a conference matchup with Robert Morris, but a five goal second period would lift the Lakers to a 6-3 in over RMU. The Lakers would sweep the Colonials following a 4-0 win Friday night and now controls first place in the CHA standings.

ECAC

Union 1 @ (5) Clarkson 4

Clarkson rolls past Union extends winning streak to 11 games with a record of 9-0-2. Two goals from Cayley Mercer helped the fifth-ranked Golden Knights defeat Union 4-1 on Saturday afternoon. Clarkson is now 23-3-4 overall and 11-3-4 in ECAC.

(4) Quinnipiac 2 @ (10) Colgate 3

Colgate broke into the rankings this week and raised a lot of eyebrows in doing so. Well on Saturday the Raiders proved their worth in the national conversation. Three different players scored for Colgate. Snapping a 21-game unbeaten streak for Quinnipiac with a 3-2 win.

(9) Princeton 5 @ Cornell 0

Princeton is the first regular season conference champion in 2016. The #9 ranked Tigers defeated Cornell 5-0 on Saturday afternoon to clinch the conference for the first time since 2006.

Hockey East

(5) Northeastern 3 @ Providence 1

The #5 ranked Northeastern Huskies have been playing really well since their loss to Boston College. The Huskies have won 14 in a row including a 3-1 Saturday over Providence. Next up a top 5 showdown with #1 Boston College.

(1) Boston College 5 @ Connecticut 4

The Eagles are #1, undefeated, and have the second longest winning streak in NCAA history. Though all that could distract even the most talented players the Eagles remain poised and focused. Escaping a trap game in Storrs was crucial for the non-believers, BC escapes UConn with 5-4 win.

WCHA

(2) Wisconsin 2 @ Ohio State 0

Ohio State had upset on their mind this weekend but unfortunately Wisconsin has one of the great goaltenders in the country. Ann-Renee Desbiens shutout the Buckeyes 2-0, and the #2 ranked Badgers earned a weekend sweep of Ohio State.

(7) Bemidji State 4 @ St. Cloud State 1

For the first time in program history the Bemidji State Beavers clinched home advantage in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. The Beavers earned a 4-1 win over St. Cloud State and can finish as high a three or four in the conference standings.

(8) North Dakota 0 @ (3) Minnesota 0 OT

The #8 ranked North Dakota women's hockey team tied #3 Minnesota, 0-0, before taking a 2-1 shootout win on Saturday evening. The win provides some confidence for UND as they are the last time in the NCAA tournament currently. If they can pull another upset they will improve their case in why they should be in the tourney!
